Seating was readily available. The waitress was patient and attentive throughout the meal. The salsas were fresh and delicious. I found the mild and hot combined for and excellent flavor and spice level. I found the hot salsa to be more of a low medium in heat and stood on its own. The chili meat enchilada sauce was wonderful with a nice smokey flavor. The refried beans had a smooth consistency and the rice complimented the rest of the meal. This was my first visit to Maria's but I will be back.

Amazing food!! Our server was on top of everything, we had a larger party and he kept everything taken care of the whole time! Will go back here.

Very nice atmosphere and really friendly service. Good prices and the food was delicious. We had a great time, they even come to your table and make your guacamole! It was great! Definitely going back.

The food was delicious, they have several styles of beans and rice and the cheese dip and guacamole was delicious. They also do chips and salsa and you get your choice of hot or mild. Would definitely eat here again if I find myself back that way.

So I decided I wanted Mexican for supper while in Joplin so Maria's was close to the hotel and had a pretty good rating so I figured I would.give it a try. I go in and was meet by very friendly staff and I had a seat at the bar since I was by my self. I ordered a margarita and started on the chips and salsa. They had spice salsa and plan the spice wasn't spicy ant all but was really good the plan was just blan. The margarita was very weak so I had to get a shot of tequila to add to it. I ordered the fajitas monterrey and they came out steaming! They didn't have the normal fajitas taste to them but were really good. The bacon wrapped jalapenos shrimp stole the show, they were delicious! I will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Greatest food ever, I've eaten a lot of Mexican food and here is definitely the best. Ashley was a wonderful server and so nice. Atmosphere is so nice and relaxing. First time here and now my favorite place now. Definitely will be back, hopefully soon. I need a nap after 2 yummy margaritas

If you love Mexican food like we do then this is the place. There are a lot out there claiming to be authentic but Maria's is the real real. Girlfriend had there ceviche that was so amazing and loaded with flavor. I had their beef enchiladas smother in queso sauce that was totally awesome. Do yourselves a huge favor and get over their a.s.a.p., You'll really be glad you did.

I'll say this. As a commercial truck driver I have eaten at just about every mexican restaurant across Missouri and many across the country . And this is 5 star folks. As a matter of fact I've told my friends that if this isn't the best Mexican food they have ever had I will pay for their dinner. What more can I say .
